There is a monolithic conglomerate of about 18 meters high in the shape of a big friar.
Legend has it that when the friars left the Trinitarian Convent of Fontcalda. Already far from the convent, a monk full of longing, turned himself towards its convent, and instantly petrified. A part of this throughout other spectacular formations can be seen in the Valley. Along the "Vall del frare" go several canyons, the deepest is the Navarro canyon, which drains all the water that goes to the crests of "Volendins" and the mountains of Crestall. Apart from its beautiful natural landscape some spots that came along the valley also have its charm, with old olive trees and dry stone margins that witnessed several historical events.
