Declared a cultural site of national interest the church of the Assumption, the House of Old Town and making Waldo
Waldo (ACN) .- The Government approved on Tuesday declared a cultural site of national interest in the category of historic monument the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Old Town Hall and jail or house La Castellana, of Waldo. In the case of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and former home of the Old Town is located in the medieval monuments of the church square, the historic heart of Waldo. The singularity of these buildings are their 'architectural structure' and 'urban and testimonial value' according to the government. In the case of the Casa de la Castellana, the record makes clear that the building has seen 'some of the major events' history of Catalonia.
